At Walden, most of our students begin at the Junior-Kindergarten level, where they benefit from early enrichment, develop a love of learning and remain with the school through to graduation.
Walden also welcomes students entering at other levels. New students are made to feel welcome immediately, are partnered with current students upon arrival, and receive additional help or tutoring as needed, to help them adjust to the Walden approach.
Students may also be accepted mid-year, as placements become available.
We invite you to schedule a personal tour and share your specific educational goals for your child.
We’d be happy to provide you with a comprehensive information kit that will answer many of your questions about the enrolment process. Nothing, however, is better than coming to visit us so you can get a real feel for the goodness that exists within this community.
HOW TO APPLY

And, here’s something you won’t find at many other schools: We invite students to join our school for a two-day visit before you make your final decision. Once your child has successfully completed the class visit and has been invited to apply by our Head of School, families can complete the Admissions Application. Walden admits students on a rolling basis. Applications for the the coming school year are now available.
After the school has received your confirmation of acceptance, you will be invited to complete the registration process as outlined in the confirmation of acceptance. The admissions team can be reached at 905-338-6236 or via our contact form to answer any questions regarding applications and technical support.
Karen Langill
Office Manager and member of our Admissions Team, welcomes you to Walden International School.
Karen joined Walden over ten years ago as an Education Assistant and fell in love with the school, the students and their families. Four years ago Karen transitioned from the classroom to Administration, and enjoys introducing families to Walden and showing the magic we create here every day. She makes sure that each and every student who joins our school feels welcome and happy with their decision to become part of the Walden family, and supports and guides potential and current families through life at Walden.

TESTIMONIALS

“Walden feels like family, when you walk through the doors you cannot help but feel the nurturing environment. We are thankful for the academic and personal growth they have fostered in our son.“
“Walden really does have the very best teachers and staff! When looking for a school not only did we want quality education … we wanted a school that promotes good intentions, confidence, and compassion but still holds our kids accountable. Walden, you have done this and even with online learning you are still doing this. While these times are difficult, your online learning platform is teaching our children how to stay organized, self disciplined, and accountable. Thank you with all our hearts.“
“Walden has been a perfect fit for our daughter! She was instantly inspired by teachers who understood her strengths and needs, while continually providing a perfect balance between teaching goodness with teaching curriculum.“
“Every single one of our son’s teachers have been INCREDIBLE! They are always prompt, patient, prepared, commanding, and pleasant! They teach with incredible passion and their love for the students and for what they do can be felt through the screen! They have evolved and danced through these uncharted waters so well!“
We arrived at Walden in grade 8, seeking refuge after a deeply distressing public school experience. My son—once joyful, friendly, and engaged—had become withdrawn, angry, and uninterested. Watching his light fade was heartbreaking. He had gone from jubilant and carefree to frustrated and sullen, leaving us devastated and searching for answers.
But from the very first day at Walden, we saw his old self begin to awaken. The teachers, principals, and administration here are unlike any other—they truly listen, making every child feel seen, valued, and capable of greatness. They instill belief, hope, and endless possibilities in their students, empowering them to feel unstoppable.
I am beyond grateful for this experience, and my only regret is not finding Walden sooner. From the bottom of my heart, thank you—in one year, you have profoundly shaped the trajectory of my son’s passion for education, learning, and his future career.“
